Julien Hay

Originally from Avranches, where his father, grandfather, and even his great-grandfather were photographers, Julien first earned his doctorate in neuroscience before the simple purchase of a camera brought him back to the family tradition.

Master photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson spoke of a “decisive instant.”

With Julien, the art of capturing this instant is found in the streets, taking photos that “bear witness to the present, remember the past, and nourish the future.” From this was born a singular poetry that is the signature of his work, encouraging you to take advantage of the present moment.

As an administrator of the Professional Photographers Union, he can fulfil requests for corporate, institutional, and architectural projects as well as events, always with his optimistic vision.

In Paris and beyond, numerous brands and personalities have already put their trust in him for his kind professionalism.
