Elisabeth Blanchet Burgot loves life and people. Uncompromising and committed, this former math teacher quickly put her interpersonal skills to use in journalism and photography to pay homage to unsung heroes. Far from glitz and glamor, Elisabeth retraces the course of life and history, with a penchant for postwar buildings in France and England—where she lived for 15 years—and the fate of Central European families. Behind the lens, Elisabeth also captures moments of relaxation on beaches, where the borders of social classes disappear in favor of unity and where each is enjoying the present moment. Since 2024, as a contributor for FOU! Magazine, Elisabeth has discovered a new passion: the richness of local heritage and its artisans, heirs to decades-old crafts and whose future is full of promise.
