Elisabeth Blanchet Photographe

Élisabeth navigates between writing, photography, and documentary filmmaking. Curious and a tad stubborn, she tells the stories of communities, regions, and memories that refuse to be erased. From the Ceaușescu orphans in Ireland to the Lomé porters, Roma, and prefab homeowners in the UK, she keeps the memory of people and places alive. In 2014, she founded the Prefab Museum in London, dedicated to the postwar homes which have become part of collective memory. In France, her documentary work continues through exhibits, publications, reference works, and conferences. As a journalist and photographer for the French and British press, Elisabeth covers travel, archi- tecture, and social topics with the same curiosity as for personal stories. This year, she joins FOU! Magazine once more as a writer.
