At Escale d’Intérieur, embark on a sensory voyage where each piece of furniture tells a story and each object evokes a destination. After years scouring trade fairs, Sabine and Marc Weinfeld decided to create two boutiques in Coutances in 2020, then in La Haye du Puits last year. “We wanted to create a place where you can meander, like at home,” says Sabine, an interior designer. The store in La Haye du Puits is located inside a real house, and in Coutances, inside a former saddlery. Each piece is chosen with care: German couches, tables in sculpted Indonesian wood, unique wall hangings, and inviting lighting. Here, everything is new, but with a timeless soul. “We love exotic wood, bohemian chic, industrial, and restyled baroque.” Clients leave with a piece they fell in love with, or sometimes with enough to furnish their entire house!
