This late 19th-century house was acquired in 2025 by a local hotel group and remodeled in its original style, between Dinard elegance and contemporary comfort. “We have kept the style of the villa and added the desired modernity,” says Marc Scognamiglio, manager of the Royal Émeraude and the Grand Bé in Saint- Malo. The remade villa is designed for family vacations and extended stays, with a living–dining room, an open kitchen, a south-facing terrace, three upstairs bedrooms, and two bathrooms in a simple, fluid layout. Books, thrifted finds, and reused furniture make for a lively décor: “We didn’t want everything to be new. We used antiques to give the place character,” says Marc.
