La Tête Noire
At the top of the Grande Rue in Mont Saint-Michel, La Tête Noire is a B&B with a family history. Your hosts are Inès and Jean Lebrec, discreet, erudite, and deeply attentive. Jean always spent his vacations in this 14th-century house: “It has been in our family for generations. My mother loved it so much. When she passed, I couldn’t part with it.” To share a bit of this jewel that is also the oldest house on the Mont, Inès and Jean have prepared a 40m2 suite with two bedrooms for three people. The front door opens on a large kitchen, where you’ll enjoy fresh products, carefully chosen by Inès and Jean. They talk about the Mont, share their perspectives as artists, and show you the sacred rock on which the house is built. “For eight years, we have welcomed over 75 nationalities. And we’re now invited to stay all over the world!” says the couple whose only goal is to make their guests happy.
