La Cave d'Aleth
In Saint-Servan, the Cave d’Aleth has made a name for itself as a place where professionals, amateurs, and neighbors come for unique finds in wine. It was taken over in 2022 by Alice and Sébastien Merel, who made it acces- sible and anchored in the neighborhood. “We wanted our door to always be wide open, literally and figuratively,” says Alice. From his background at Michelin-starred restaurants and hers from wine waiting, their paths joined in this common project. “No wine enters our cellar without common accord,” says Sébastien. In four years, the cellar has gone from 400 to more than 1600 handpicked wines and spirits, including local gems. “We’re always looking for that little something special,” says Sébastien. They offer bottles for every budget without sacrificing quality. The Cave d’Aleth is also home to tastings, meetings with the winegrowers, private workshops, and regular events.
