The Martine Lambert ice cream shop is a historic Deauville institution with a new location in Trouville since February. Founded in 1976 by Martine Lambert, the eponymous chain was taken over by her son, François, in 2009. It all begins with the products: seasonal whole fruits sourced directly from the producer or selected with care in the case of exotic fruits, cream from the farm, and whole vanilla pods. “We make everything in-house from A to Z. Everything is 100% natural, without additives,” says Christophe Pradeau, sales and comms manager. For here or to go, Martine Lambert creations have become like Proustian madeleines for generations of Deauville residents, while creating new fans year after year. The new location serves homemade pastries and cakes alongside carefully selected teas and coffees. “We wanted to offer customers a place to sit down and take time to enjoy,” says Chris- tophe. Also new are the event carts, available for private individuals and professionals to rent.
