Boutons du Grenier

In an attic, buttons lay forgotten for decades until Lola Druaux gave them a second life, transforming them into unique pieces of jewelry full of stories and emotions. During the lockdown, Lola came across her mother’s high fashion buttons in metal, mother-of-pearl, and plastic. She began by making necklaces for her friends, then did a few markets before launching her brand, Boutons du Grenier, in June 2025. Today, Lola sources buttons from flea markets and donations: “Each one is unique: I sand it, file it, update it, then I use stainless steel to set it in a necklace, ring, bracelet, or earring.” Some of them are fashioned out of family heirlooms. “A customer recently brought me an old Dior button to make a necklace for her mother. She was very moved, and her mother was too.” Lola also hosts jewelry workshops in and around Granville. Follow her on Instagram for markets, workshop dates, and new items, and buy her pieces on her website.
