In Beaumont-en-Auge, Maison13 is a “shop of ideas” embarking on adventures with new items and projects, a loyal clientele, and a big dose of humanity. After captivating customers and curious newcomers from all over the world, Maison13 has fast become a hit. “We have been warmly welcomed by the residents and shopkeepers of the village,” says owner Rémy Baillieul. In his boutique, each object tells a story, whether it’s décor, culi- nary items, a gourmet bite, or a refurbished piece of furniture. This year, he has launched an e-shop with capsule collections and limited-edition series. Maison13 travels too, thanks to a pop-up location in Deauville: “I wanted to offer something beyond the equestrian world, a place to find a gift or a favorite item.” Rémy is also creating his own line of candles and biscuits in collaboration with a Parisian pastry chef. At Maison 13, he is not only selling beautiful things; he is creating connection and conversation.
