Villa Haute Guais by Castelbrac
Since August 2024, guests from around the world have been enjoying the Villa Haute Guais, a 19th-century villa in Dinard. With its stunning view, its emblematic architecture, and its chic British decor, it is a house where privacy and luxury go together marvellously.
For Sophie Bannier, in charge of the villa’s decoration, her goal is to make you feel at home in a world steeped in good British taste. The villa features wallpaper and fabrics in unique patterns and shimmering colours, plus furniture and eclectic objects from across the Channel and from the former owners.
Throughout the house, from the sitting room to the veranda to the lounge, the kitchen, and the small office, without forgetting the bedrooms, the colours change and coordinate, creating mini worlds. The long wooden table unites guests for breakfast and dinner in the dining room, where Chef Rémi Ledauphin personally serves guests his authentic, seasonal dishes from Tuesday to Saturday. Climb the large spiral staircase and discover five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Each has a different colour theme and bears the name of a British queen or princess: orange for Henrietta, green for Charlotte, black and white for Elizabeth, bordeaux and blue for Victoria, and saffron and blue for the family suite, Diana. The abundance of cushions and armchairs, the TV screens hidden in mirrors, and the gran- diose headboards shaped like crowns make these rooms jewels of royal comfort.
The Villa Haute Guais is available for rent year-round and can be privatised.
