Owners of the family sweet shop Le Petit Jules, Yann and Lucile Bautés opened La Bohème By Le Petit Jules metres away from the beach in Saint-German-sur-Ay. The seaside family restaurant offers traditional family cooking in a cosy setting. The boco décor will immediately welcome you, from straw lamps, plants up to the ceiling, wood furniture, and the sea at the end of the street. They make simple, good, quality dishes with fresh, local ingredients. On the menu are tapas, galettes, crêpes, and grilled meats (like the famous beef cheek confit in the house sauce, Chef Yann’s specialty). They are always adding new quirky dishes, like recently, lobster rolls and truffle croque-monsieurs. La Bohème is open every day in summer (6 days a week in spring and at the end of summer).
