Il Était Une Cave is a wine cellar and wine bar whose owners, wine connoisseurs Stéphanie and Damien Lherbette, will take your tastebuds on a journey. After 15 years of experience in the wines of Touraine, Stéphanie and Damien landed in Touques in 2023. Thus began the story of their business, whose name in English means Once Upon a Wine Cellar. In 2024, they added a wine bar, joyously hosted by Damien, a born storyteller. He tells the stories of the wines, often organic or biodynamic, and their growers, whose beverages he proudly represents. On Thursdays, they host happy hour with carefully selected wines paired with tasty local nibbles. And for a novel experience, try the evening blind-tastings!
