For 38 years, Emmanuel Catherine has been giving new life to the roofs of the most beautiful homes in the pays d’Auge. Supported by a tight-knit team, he brings his friendliness, know-how, and passion for excellence to each work site. A born artisan, Emmanuel’s mission is to preserve Norman architectural heritage while adapting to the history and demands of each home. Since the creation of his company in 2003, today located in Valsemé, he and his team have been working on manors, stud farms, and villas with noble materials like old tile, slate, copper, and zinc. For Emmanuel, there are no cookie-cutter solutions: “Each project is a new challenge, and our work is unique and custom. What matters is client satisfaction and that my guys are happy to work with me,” a philosophy he intends to keep until retirement by training the next generation of roofers.
