Domaine de Geffosses
In the heart of the pays d’Auge, Solenn and Stéphane have created an exceptional place, the Domaine de Geffosses. From the half-timbered manor to the six gites housed inside former farm buildings, the past is in perfect harmony with modern comfort. (Even French novelist Gustave Flaubert once spent his vacations here!) The Domaine attracts couples, families, groups, and companies for weekends, birthdays, weddings, and seminars. “Rent out the entire place for 50 people, or simply book a room, a gite, or the Bouillerie, our standalone house. We also rent out the Pressoir which is a gite for 28 people,” says Solenn.
The 17-acre grounds with orchards and beehives reflect the couple’s ecofriendly approach. Between protecting Norman bees, composting, making juice and compotes, and replanting fruit trees, their way of life respects nature. The Domaine delights its guests year-round, but Solenn particularly recommends you come in fall and winter to enjoy the ambiance by the fireplace.
