Since 1946, Yver Chocolatier has been delighting foodies with chocolates, fine pastries, and artisanal ice cream. Behind the elegant window displays of Granville, Yquelon, and Caen is a passionate craft that has been passed down from generation to generation. “Our classics speak for themselves,” says Cédric Yver, today at the head of the business founded by his grandfather. You’ll find sweet treats such as Rocs de Granville, Normandises, marshmallow bears, homemade truffles, and macarons as well as emblematic pastries like the Jésuites and raspberry charlottes. “We like testing and tweaking. This year, crunchy vanilla is all the rage along with our chocolate, caramel, and lime– basil sorbets.” From the cocoa beans to the seasonal fruit, each ingredient is carefully chosen. And in summer, enjoy their ice cream, crêpes, and waffles on the Plat Gousset boardwalk.
