A La Carte Events & Planner
– À la Carte Events & Planner creates bespoke group stays and expe- riences. Based in Normandy, the agency also designs trips throughout France and Europe. From transportation to accommodation, restaurants, meetings, and activities, each project is orchestrated with finesse. At the origin of this approach is Thierry, who opened his first agency in 1989, hosting professional events in private châteaux and manors. After a career in business tourism in Paris, he came back to his roots in 2007 and founded À la Carte with Caroline Louzir, now located in southwest France. “We design each stay like a unique adventure. Our aim is to surprise, delight, and tell a story,” says Thierry, who organizes Jeep excursions, visits of manors and private gardens, hot-air balloon rides, tours of the D-Day beaches and Mont Saint-Michel, private soirées and seminars in exclusive places, and more. The agency uses experts handpicked for each project and offers bilingual support thanks to Thierry’s command of English.
