In the heart of old Honfleur, the Cour Sainte-Catherine and the Maisons d’Augustine unite history, charm, and modern comfort. This year, the newest addition is the “Au Jardin” tearoom, where you can savor the peace and quiet of the courtyard. Enjoy cakes, tarts, and madeleines paired with Mariage Frères tea, and for appetizers, try the charcuterie and cheese plates as well as salads. Au Jardin is a secret garden that has won over customers of all ages, making them want to come back to stay in this stunning former convent of the Augustine Sisters. The 17th-century buildings have been restored with care. There are two spaces: the Cour Sainte-Catherine, the former heart of the convent, with 5 rooms (2 of which are suites), individual apartments, and a loft; and the Maisons d’Augustine– studios and a townhouse– where the Sisters used to teach girls. Both have kept up with the times to offer contem- porary comfort in a warm atmosphere, now with the addition of the tearoom.
